UGG Burleigh Platform Boot — Chelsea & Chukka, Tan & Black, 4 Colors
$201.00
UGG Burleigh Platform Boot — Style 426145
Four colors across two boot constructions. The Chelsea and the Chukka share the same polished leather, the same platform lug sole, and the same UGG branding — but they resolve the ankle differently. The Chelsea slips on via elastic side gores. The Chukka laces through three metal eyelets. Each construction is available in tan and black. All four sit on the same chunky ridged outsole that lifts the silhouette above the heritage-boot baseline.
Shared Construction (All 4 Colors)
- Upper material: Polished smooth leather throughout — a burnished, high-sheen finish with natural crease lines that develop with wear; the leather surface reflects light and shows depth of color variation across the toe cap, vamp, and quarter panels
- Platform sole: Thick rubber lug outsole with a deep sawtooth tread pattern; the sole unit consists of an off-white/cream foam midsole layer, a tan/sand transitional welt strip, and a rubber outsole — the layered construction is visible from the side and adds substantial height without a formal heel; the tan sole color applies to both tan-upper versions; the black sole (tonal) applies to both black-upper versions
- Heel pull tab: Small leather loop at the rear collar for pull-on assistance; color matches the upper in each colorway
- UGG branding: Small UGG logo badge on the tongue or upper collar area; subtle and tonal in all four colorways
- Packaging: Ships in UGG signature dark grey shoebox
- Sizing: EU 39–44; men’s sizing
Construction Type A — Chelsea Boot (Colors 1 & 2)
- Entry system: No laces, no zipper — slip-on via twin elastic gore panels on the medial and lateral sides of the ankle; the gores are the only flexible element on the upper and are color-matched to the leather in both colorways
- Silhouette: Classic Chelsea boot profile — clean, unbroken surface from toe to collar with no hardware, no eyelets, no visible closure; the ankle collar sits at a mid-ankle height with a rounded opening; the toe is broad and softly rounded
- Upper surface: Completely uninterrupted leather panels on both the lateral and medial faces — no seam lines, no stitching details beyond the welt; the elastic gores are recessed into the side panels and visible only in profile
Construction Type B — Chukka / Lace-Up Boot (Colors 3 & 4)
- Entry system: Three-eyelet lacing system — the classic chukka boot eyelet count; laces are flat and woven, color-matched to the upper; eyelets are round metal hardware (gold-tone for tan, dark/black-tone for black)
- Toe construction: Moccasin-style apron seam — a raised center seam runs from the toe tip along the vamp, dividing the forefoot into two symmetrical panels; this is a construction-forward detail that adds visual structure and differentiates the chukka version from the smooth Chelsea upper
- Silhouette: Mid-ankle chukka profile — slightly taller collar opening than the Chelsea; the lacing creates a visible V-shaped throat opening at the instep; the tongue is padded and carries the UGG branding badge
Four Colors
- Color 1 — Tan Chelsea (Style 426145): Warm caramel-tan polished leather; cream + sand two-tone platform sole; tan elastic gores blend into the leather; the warmest and most heritage-coded of the four; closest to a traditional Chelsea boot reframed with a contemporary platform sole
- Color 2 — Black Chelsea (Style 426144): High-gloss black polished leather; full tonal black sole; black elastic gores are nearly invisible against the upper; the most formal and urban of the four; the platform sole is the only visual disruption from a conventional dress Chelsea
- Color 3 — Tan Chukka (Style 426143): Same caramel-tan leather as Color 1; cream + sand platform sole; gold-tone metal eyelets; tan laces; apron seam adds frontal texture; the most outdoors-coded of the tan versions
- Color 4 — Black Chukka (Style 426142): Same gloss black leather as Color 2; full tonal black sole; dark metal eyelets; black laces; apron seam is visible as a tonal surface detail against the black ground; the most versatile across formal and casual contexts of the four
Same sole. Same leather. Two ways to close the ankle. Four ways to wear it.
